Why we ask what we ask
Every field on that form exists because it changes the number. Here is what each one does, so you know none of it is being collected for the sake of it.
If you do not know the answer to one of these, put "not sure". A rough answer and a phone call beats a precise answer you had to go and measure.

A person reads your answers, not an autoresponder. If anything is unclear we ring you rather than guessing at the price.
You get a written price
Usually within 24 hours, and often much sooner on smaller jobs. Itemised, so packing and dismantling are separate lines you can take or leave.
You decide
No follow-up campaign, no chasing. If you want the date, tell us and we hold it. If you do not, that is the end of it.
Getting a price: common questions
How quickly will I hear back?+
Usually within 24 hours, and often within a couple of hours on single items and small jobs. If you send the form late on a Saturday, expect an answer on Sunday or first thing Monday. If it is urgent, ring rather than waiting on email.
Do you need to visit the house?+
For most jobs, no. A phone call and a few photos is enough to price a flat or a two or three-bed house accurately. Four bedrooms and up, or anywhere with difficult access, we do a short video walk-through on your phone. Office moves are the exception and always get a site visit.
Is the quote fixed, or will it change on the day?+
Fixed, provided the job matches what you told us. If there turns out to be a loft full of boxes nobody mentioned, or the van cannot get within a hundred metres of the door, we will talk to you about it before we start rather than adding it to the bill afterwards.
Do I have to pay a deposit to hold a date?+
Not to get a quote, and not while your completion date is still moving. We will pencil in a date and confirm it when you are ready.
What do you do with my details?+
We use them to price your move and to contact you about it. We do not sell them, share them or add you to a mailing list. If you would like them deleted, ask and we will do it. See our privacy policy.
